"I cannot sing Chef Erika's praises enough from my experience spending two weeks on a retreat enjoying her culinary expertise. During this time Erika was responsible for feeding a group of active hungry dancers with diverse needs and tastes. One of the needs was my paleo and low inflammatory diet comprised of many restrictions which had been problematic with other chefs in the past. Other needs from the group included pescatarianism, various allergies, and varieties in tastes as some preferred comfort food while others preferred healthier lighter foods. Erika took this all in stride and never failed to make a delicious meal often integrating the restrictions in an inclusive and creative way that was pleasing to all her eaters. Best of all, besides the deliciousness, I felt great eating her food and wasn’t worried something I shouldn’t be eating was in my dish. On top of all this she was pleasantly professional, punctual, and communicative which made it all the easier for us to enjoy the food and one another’s company. I look forward to having more of Erika’s food in the future and don’t think a better match could have been met."

"Chef Erika cooked for a retreat I organized. Our communication and planning were straightforward. The menus were delicious and imaginative.  No one reached for salt or pepper - every dish was just right and full of flavor.  The person worried about the food being too hot was surprised that it was OK for her; the one with digestive problems had no trouble.  There were blueberries in the kale salad, there was a cake with plums and ginger, or one with hazelnuts and chocolate.  The meal set-up was convenient and everything went smoothly with Erika's way of working! I cannot recommend her highly enough! "

We hired Erika to conduct an interactive cooking class for our daughters 16th birthday. Erika was great with the girls and they all had an amazing time - all while learning to cook and about nutrition. Erika created a menu that was teenage friendly so the girls would really enjoy the food and experience.

Erika received her Masters from the Institute of Human Nutrition at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University. She is certified by the Board for Nutrition Specialists and licensed by the New York State Education Department.
